Graduating students from Rose Bruford College’s School of Design, Management and Technical Arts hosted an industry-networking event for over 80 invited industry guests at the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) in London on Tuesday 14 May 2019.
The Face to Face event provided Costume Production, Creative Lighting Control, Lighting Design, Performance Sound, Scenic Arts, Theatre Design and Stage Management students with the opportunity to showcase their work to potential employers and artistic collaborators.
Head of School, Nick Hunt said:
“Many of our graduates will be freelancers, so building a strong professional network is essential as they begin their careers. Face to Face provides a great opportunity for them to meet new people in the industry and renew existing connections. The College’s extensive and constantly developing industry links ensure graduating students have the best possible employment opportunities.”
Attendees included John Winters, Project Draughtperson at the National Theatre, and Ewan Ross from Lighting company Panalux, who commented:
“I was really amazed by the level of talent and technical expertise that I saw from everyone I met.”
